Transfers, Storage, and Shipping

We're glad you've chosen to transfer your Title 1 firearm through Feinstein Gewehr Werke, LLC. This page is to inform you of our policies regarding transfers, storage, shipping, and transfer straw purchases and denials.

Feinstein Gewehr Werke, LLC, only transfers firearms to customers at gun shows. To see our gun show schedule, click HERE. If you are a Special customer, click HERE.

If you do not live in reasonable driving distance to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, please consider carefully before using our transfer service, particularly if you do not hold a Resident Texas LTC. NICS can go down without warning, or simply give you a Delay, resulting in you making a long drive just to do paperwork, and then having another long drive to collect your firearm after the Brady Transfer date. If we are not convenient to you, we are happy to help you find a closer FFL or an FFL with more convenient hours.

Transfer fee: $20 per 4473, cash or credit*, unless there are Storage fees - see below.

We MUST know what firearms you are shipping us, WHEN they will arrive, and WHAT gunshow you will be meeting us at. Our contact information is HERE. Our gunshow schedule is HERE. Please don't ship us a gun, turn up at a random gun show, and expect your firearm to be there. You MUST contact us first so we can bring YOUR firearm to the gun show you have arranged to meet us at.

Up to 10 firearms will be transferred on a single 4473 per Transfer fee.

Storage fees: Storage fees start after 60 days of our receipt of the firearm and are $5 per day per firearm. Storage fees are NOT accrued during the following:

For the first 60 days after we receive your firearm;

If we have agreed on an arrangement PRIOR to storage fees incurring;

During a moratorium on gun shows or during a period in which we are unable to attend gun shows;

In the 60 days following your inspection of the firearm if you are dissatisfied with the condition and intend to return it to your vendor;

In the 30 days following a NICS Delay;

During a NICS Denial Appeal;

After your death. Please do not contact us personally, have the executor of your estate contact us as we do not have a Ouija board in stock.

In all other cases, including stints in gaol, your baby momma flushing your phone, alcoholic comas, or transgender surgery to match your ID, storage fees will continue to accrue.

Storage fees are due at the time of transfer or shipping in cash or USPS Money Order only, along with the shipping fees or $20 Transfer fee, which will also be cash or USPS Money Order only if storage fees have been incurred. After 6 months of no contact or non-payment of storage fees, we will assume you have abandoned the firearm, take possession of the firearm and sell it to recover our expenses.

Shipping fees:

$20 per firearm, cash or USPS MO, payable in advance, to transfer to a north Fort Worth area FFL more convenient to you. You'll still be responsible for their transfer fee;

$20 per firearm, plus actual shipping, cash or USPS MO, payable in advance, to ship your firearm back to your vendor if you decide to return it;

$30 per firearm, plus actual shipping, cash or USPS MO, payable in advance, to ship your firearm to a different FFL outside the north Fort Worth area.

If you are not a resident of Texas, or under 21, please do not transfer any firearms other than Title 1 rifles or shotguns - ie, guns with shoulder stocks, at least 26" long, with at least 16" rifled or 18" smoothbore barrels. Due to your residence address or age, we are not able to transfer handguns or "others", including Shockwave/Pistol Grip smoothbores or firearm receivers such as AR-15 lowers to you. Such firearms will incur storage fees after 60 days of arrival, and will incur the shipping fee plus actual shipping cost to ship to a home state FFL or to return to the vendor if you can persuade them to receive it back. If fireams are being shipped to a state terrorized by leftists, we will not ship the magazines, nor will we reconfigure the firearm into a perverted leftist form. If you are a resident of a state that is terrorized by leftists, we can only transfer rifles & shotguns to you in a configuration legal in your state, with magazines legal in your state. We do not reconfigure firearms prior to transfer and we will not transfer magazines to you that are not legal in your home state. If the firearms you shipped us to transfer are not legal in your home state, we cannot transfer them to you, nor can we ship them to an FFL in your home state.

Californians: We are unable to transfer any firearm to you whatsoever because of your home state's laws. We will not transfer a firearm to you, nor will we ship it to a Californian FFL. Please see options 1-5 under NICS Denials.

Straw purchases: Please do not order firearms in your name for a "friend" or a relative, or order multiple firearms in a "group buy". The single exception to this is gifts - you can buy all the guns you like to give to friends, relatives, and any other Texas residents not known to you to be prohibited from owning firearms. If you're buying with the expectation of being reimbursed, then ATF views that as dealing without a license and take a dim view of such. Do not use someone else's account on Gunbroker, PSA, or any other online firearms dealer to buy guns for you - we can only transfer guns we receive to the person with the name on the paperwork. If we have cause to believe a straw purchase is occurring, than we are required by ATF to deny the transfer - and then you're in the same boat as if NICS gave you a Denial, except there's no appeal. See below.

NICS Denials: We are unable to transfer any firearm to you. You have several options at this point:

1) Seek a refund from your vendor. We will hold the gun for up to 60 days before additonal storage fees are incurred. Shipping back to your vendor will be $20 per firearm plus the actual shipping fee, payable via cash or USPS MO in advance;

2) If your firearm is saleable and fits in our business model, we may make an offer on your firearm. You are not required to sell the firearm to us, nor are we required to make you an offer;

3) If your firearm does not fit in our business model, we may offer to auction it for you on Gunbroker.com in a penny start auction. We will take lots of pictures of the firearm, as is, and post them in the offering. There are no additional storage fees for the next 60 days if you elect this option. We charge $75 per firearm for this service, plus actual shipping to the winning bidder's FFL, again payable in cash or USPS MO in advance;

4) You may elect to sell your firearm on Gunbroker.com or any other online service you choose, such as Texas Gun Trader. We charge $30 per firearm plus actual shipping fees to ship your firearm to the purchaser's FFL, payable with cash or USPS MO in advance, in addition to any storage fees incurred. There are no additional storage fees for the next 60 days if you elect this option;

5) Abandon the firearm. We will presume you have abandoned the firearm if we cannot contact you for more than 60 days, unless you have made prior arrangements, at which point we will sell the firearm to recover our expenses.

6) Appeal the Denial. We will hold the gun for you until the Denial is reversed without storage fees, at which time you have 60 days to meet us at a gun show to pick up your firearm and pay the $20 transfer fee, or we will hold the gun until your Appeal is exhaused, again without storage fees, at which point you have the preceeding options. If you stop communicating with us for more than 60 days during your Denial Appeal process, we will presume you have abandoned the firearm and will sell it to recover our expenses.

In all cases of inability to transfer a firearm, whether due to Denial, suspicion of straw purchase, age, or residency, we will not transfer the firearm to a known associate or relative of the customer.

* As we may not transfer firearms to a customer outside of gunshows, customers who arrive at the FFL location in an attempt to pick up their firearm will not be afforded credit card service when they do pick up their firearm at a gunshow. If you prefer to not pick up your firearm at a gunshow, we are happy to transfer your firearm to a different FFL - please see the Shipping fees above.

Feinstein Gewehr Werke, LLC, does not offer Consignment services.

All policies are subject to change without prior notice.

We regret the complexities of these policies. Due to our legal inability to transfer firearms outside of gun shows at this time, these are the best polices we are able to offer at present.
